Merchants and brands now have the ability to manage samples on a quantity level for approved promoters. This will help avoid sample coupon sharing etc. To enable this feature, you will have to edit the section within your shoppable post.
*To learn how to create a shoppable post, please view the Creating Shoppable Posts article
You will receive a window pop up with the purchase quantity limit and commission structure. To adjust the quantity for sample seeding adjust commission rates. You will need to toggle the "Limit purchase quantity per customer" on and enter a number limit you want to set for samples.
Your retail price can be adjusted if you wish to allow others to sell below your catalogue price. If you wish to keep these the same, you will skip this box.
Next you will set the commission rate that you wish to provide to the promoters reselling your post. The price for promoters and commission for promoters are static to each other. Changing one will automatically change the other. You can either set the commission dollar you wish to provide them or the commission percentage, the other will change in correspondence to the other number entered.
You will then select save once you are satisfied with the rates. *If you press save and decide to edit the commission rates you can select "set prices offered for resale" to go back in and update the numbers.
Once you have saved the window, you can proceed to finalize your post as usual. Your purchase quantity limit feature is now enabled and will only allow a promoter to purchase the set number.
